I am being required by executive order, local laws, and under the threat of force and massive fines.
No discussion can convince such a person. Their mind is made up. They are armed with “facts and science” from credible sources like MSNBC and Fauci.
Masks don’t work, then they do. It spreads by contact, then it doesn’t. Close the restaurants, only 2% of infections occur that way. 6 feet social distancing, now it’s 3. Close the schools, now it’s safe... All these “facts and science” are confusing me.
What I still can’t quite figure out, why did we close the beaches and public pools? What is the exact “scientific” argument for that? Is it the UV light? higher temperatures? Saltwater? Chlorine that is so powerful it’s in the air? Sand which is a horrible surface for the virus to live in? Tile surfaces which are a horrible surface for the virus to live on. Or folks that naturally spread out as much as possible in these places? Please, anyone, I need to know because this has been driving me crazy for the last YEAR as a common man that needs some scientific mind like Cuomo or Biden to explain this to me!
