It would have been a justifiable end to his past cruelty.
But what a plot tonight, poignant love story of he and his dying wife, very moving indeed.
He was a man in great pain, carrying massive guilt about the affair and his betrayal of the doctors.
Pain like that can turn someone into a “monster”.
/knew the backstory long ago
As many have pointed out, “St. Rick” went off and slaughtered Negan’s people in their sleep.
We could all seem monsters to someone else, at some point.
Good episode!
Next season, Negan and Maggie get married, count on it. ๐
Heart breaking, really.
A broken man can do crazy things.
FWIW, I do not like Maggie and never have.
No idea why.
Maybe partly because she “leads” with her heart and not her head and people died because of it.
I’ll be really pissed if she kills him.
I’ve been waiting on this since I read it, years ago.
That’s why some people were never Negan haters.
Rick’s daughter hasn’t been in very many episodes lately. I liked her character.
Well, being a shallow FReeper man, I've always liked Maggie because she's hot, no other reason.
Having said that, being ex-military I find it lame that women are being portrayed in the series as fierce warriors and leaders of their clans. Women have their place but portrayed as these ass-kicking killers is BS.
But I still like Maggie...because I'm shallow.
๐๐I vote for that.
Thx for the ping. Late to the computer today.
That was actually a great episode
ROFL
Yeah, that annoys me too.
I do like Michonne, though.
She was pretty badass.
You may run out of bullets or bolts but you never run out of sword.
Yes it was.
Burning “Lucille” was a gutpunch.
You mean Shane’s daughter?
:D
OMG i thought I was the only one. Not married but in a relationship. Remember Maggie forgave I forgot the girl who was with the governor in playing a role of Maggie’s father death.
Oh! Lucille will be the bridesmaid. ROFL
Great! Now whenever I hear “You are so beautiful” by Joe Cocker. Nagin pops in my head. LOL
“Burning โLucilleโ was a gutpunch.”
He broke Lucille on the walker in the field and burning her in the fireplace was closure.
