Negro criminals get a free pass on everything. They can attack any identifiable group with impunity: Asians, Whites, Jews, the Elderly, anyone who isn't black.
“A lot of my constituents are sending me video footage from their cameras from here and multiple blocks away showing some individuals who are walking through the neighborhood,” said the Councilman. “What we saw closer to this location is them walking through the street, his car pulls up, he parks it and he’s going to the house normally and that’s when he was approached.”
Police have not released any footage or a description of the suspects.

Yep. That was brutal. And it’s one sad consequence of dissuading citizens from arming themselves.
Side note: Years ago I attended a lecture by an NRA lawyer. He said there were three places in the U.S. where the cops will arrest you for gun violations even if you’re following all the rules. Those three places are New York City, DC, ... and Baltimore.
You state the obvious, but somewhere in academia a “Ph.D” in social justice says they system caused this monster to act in this brutal manner.
And according to that same “doctor”, anybody not willing to open a business in the hood is a racist.

According to the article the two women are now at home recovering. That is a blessing.

These people are immigrants, who typically don’t have a lot of money...so they get a store where the rents are low.
And they make it. Probably all their children are studying to be doctors or something similar, so they will eventually be able to sit back and enjoy life...unless loser thugs, who could never run a store in their own neighborhoods, intervene.
Bottom line: Urban America is lawless and unlivable.
The other “man” who was leaving appears to be an accomplice. Also it looked as if the primary “man” was wearing an apron. Maybe “works” nearby?
Might be a white supremacist with a very, very dark tan.
Silly, albie, not in 2021. If the police had intervened and shot him, the MSM would say the thug was an unarmed black man.
As I’ve stated before, there is a great deal of resentment on the part of the inhabitants of sketchy parts of town towards those (often immigrants) who start up businesses there. Some of it is justified. Store keepers are suspicious of their customers (with good reason) and don’t trust them at all. The prices they charge tend to be higher than else where (also with good reason). They also tend to hire relatives, friends or other immigrants, not the locals (again with good reason).
In addition, the locals are convinced the immigrants are getting funded by the government and given special favors that they, the locals, don’t get. And they resent the fact that the immigrants, through hard work, guts, and determination seem to succeed where the locals tend to stay stuck in the morass of their own making. After success, the immigrants move away, only to be replaced by newer immigrants who repeat the cycle.
The underlying fact is that it is never the black underclass’s fault; it is always someone else’s.
