contain a mixture of truth, fiction and misunderstanding.

I can’t help but think that, for Newsweek, those words are high praise! :D
Patriots are in the light of day.
This is the deep state.
And likely there is more than one on this site.
Let me think... antifa guy gets released after 20 days from Capitole while many others are still kept there without charge in solitary confinement, guantanamo style...
The secret army is in plain view.

The article is a lot of hype and misdirection. The essential point is simply that the work of creating and using false identities and disguises is more demanding and sophisticated these days, thus requiring a large establishment of people skilled in such things.
I do not believe this!
I think it is some lying Marxist rat trying to make us paranoid!
Yep, and they are run by the EVIL CIA!
He is not talking about the regular military. He is talking about the secret military forces, etc.
Yep!
Sometimes the CIA, etc. like to brag about their EVILS/secrecy, etc.
This is new? My Dad worked for counter intelligence in the 50’s. They did all sorts of surveillance on US citizens—looking at “communist” infiltration of the US. He was in the south. There was a lot of work tied to the southern churches.
When I asked if that was legal—he just told me not to be so naive.
So, I guess I read these articles and think that this stuff never stopped.
On a good note, at least we now know what Obama did with all that ammunition.
Thank you for the background on the author.
Trump did us a favor by exposing the media for pushing ‘fake news’
It’s hard to have a good feeling about any group on the federal teat these days, even if they are not “clandestine.”
“I’ve about had it with this government and its myriad spy organizations.”
As had many that have bought into the reality of it. Is it anything new? Not hardly. The practice of trend analysis leading to reaction has been around since we first stood up and walked on two feet. Anyone who buys into a periodical news source with a history of misleading the public for either political or profitable gain is highly vulnerable. The public has always known they were there. But it didn’t mean anything to them as it didn’t effect them, or so they determined.
Everything we do or think has already been looked at. And we are kept occupied with “hobbies” that keep us safe and sassy so we won’t bother those that actually run the world. But the true outcome of success is not what they get, but what they consider a tradeoff for it.
It’s a balance. No one can determine what their next door neighbor is doing in the house until it burns down. And the fear of what that will cause is kept covert so as not to threaten the peace as it is determined for us. And we have very little to say about it.
Remember to always be in the comfort zone best said by
Bobby McFerrin....Don’t Worry Be Happy. More programming. It takes more work for the populous to be driven. It’s easier to use props to get the public to think it’s their idea. And people have always liked LEGOs. Keeps them occupied before their afternoon nap.

1st Lt. Milo Minderbinder : What’s good for M & M Enterprises will be good for the country.
“Sure, we’re at war with them. But the Germans are
also members in good standing of the syndicate, and it’s my job to protect their rights as shareholders.”
“This sound like what they call great skills. Highly secretive and nobody will talk about it. They use to recruit Intel soldiers now and then but the only thing they would tell us was that your still in the Army but you wear civilian clothes.”
It sounds like BS to me. I’m a 24 year, retired 96B/35F, and I still work with/for Military Intel and this story could be about anything or nothing at all. BTW whisper “great skills” when you say it, lol. If you’re a 98C I wonder if we’ve crossed paths in Korea, Bliss, Germany, Italy, Holland, Baghdad, Egypt, Huachuca???
