Did she actually sat “no, no, Nannette!”?? That would be awesome and should have started an immediate breakout into song with a dance routine thrown in.

Expects you to do better in what she considers better without regards to any negative consequences or cost, whether financial or other that she has either not considered or deems unimportant.

My soon to be ex-wife.

I miss Gertrude, Hildegard, Agnes, Peggy, etc. Some names have definitely gone extinct.

As others here have said, names are cyclical. Three women where I work have had babies recently, and they’re named Lucy, Georgia, and Claire.

I miss Hazel, Gladys and Claudia as well.

I think hurricanes used to be named after them too.

Needs to be gender neutral like Taylor or Blaire.Dakota or Kai.

Just tell them: "You gave your daughter a boy's name - I guess you really wanted a boy!"

Find out what they say. :)

I have recently met a 2 year old Henery.
Henery? Weird. What was wrong with Henry?

sounds like a Herman's Hermits fan

After the Royal debacle, I'm pretty sure Henry is a female name.

We have lots of Marthas in my family. I’m trying to keep it going.

I have recently met a 2 year old Henry.

Henry was a wallflower who had to quickly become a hoofer to win over his new girl friend Annie.

Before the wife of my cousin was born, her father wanted a boy and wanted to name him Lynn. But instead, he got a girl, so he named her Linda. Shortly afterwards, Lynn, for some reason, became exclusively a girl’s name.

Lynn is my daughter’s name. It was easy for her to learn how to spell.

Oddly enough, her choice. I’m a glutton for punishment—or a big believer in marriage.
