And the idea that this is related to something "leftover from an antediluvian civilization" would make an awful lot of sense from a Biblical perspective (Nephilim...as it was in the times of Noah).

It’s a good and relevant question and one over my pay grade. I was a history major not a physicist! It certainly appears ‘they’ (the UAPs) are able to navigate our physical world. For example, they don’t arrive at this dimension in the middle of a building. Seems they come and go via the oceans with frequency. Perhaps they can peer into our dimension before they punch into it? Perhaps they’re holograms in nature and are merely projected into our dimension but aren’t physically here?
An interesting and plausible concept. Where do they base out of? Hard to reach depths in the ocean? Under the ice sheets? Elsewhere in the solar system?

Now that makes sense if they are from another dimension, not actually being here physically vs physically being here. You may be right, because all of the “Physical interactions” do not play out as convincing. Like cattle mutilations, these have been debunked as natural oddities. And I believe that debunking to be correct.
We were talking about this on another thread and I really think they have mapped out static time/space/dimension portals in different places all over the Globe. This may be why they are seen more often in some places and not others. And they can jump from one to another.
I shared the other day that I also think these portal locations correlate with the earth’s “Ley lines”. You can put a map of the most sighting locations next to a map of Ley lines and it sure looks like the Ley line intersections are where the most sightings happen.
And as a historian you will appreciate this too. All the major Ley line intersections just also happen to be located at sites of ancient civilizations and major megalithic constructions. :)
