Another bear of color, assassinated by white police officers! He was just turning his life around.

The only good bear is a dead bear. Same with commies.

If you can't bring the weapon down to bear for a timely second shot, its not much help.
oh...and you need to be comfortable training with it, to be confident.

A New Mexico man is sharing his story of survival after he was attacked by a bear while walking his dogs.
Bridger Petrini killed the bear while its jaw was clamped around his leg, and the jaw stayed that way for a while.

As long as the bear gives you time to put on a motorcycle helmet and set up a bench rest, it’s perfect.
To: circlecity
Helmet wasn’t necessary and a single well placed shot would do it.

Humans like to kid themselves that they’re at the top of the food chain but this incident confirms that that isn’t necessarily the case in much of the US ... and this goes for both Ovando, Mt. and Chicago, Il. ... unless you are armed.
To: george76
There's a FReeper here who fought off a bear attack with a knife and his dogs.
It's documented somewhere here.
Can't remember his name.
