If not, my guess is he’s heading to Miami to lose himself in a crowded spanish speaking neighborhood. Not as much populated area to cross heading south.
He can wind his way down to big cypress as long as a gator or python doesn’t suck him up. Can be just west of Miami. I’d check to see if he can speak spanish.
It would be a big, wet, hike though. Probably about 250 miles.
