This mess is like following villains in a movie as their time is running out. They double down before everything they planned falls apart. This is how I see the Passport people. I love the thought that the whole thing will peter out and leave them mad and sad.

Not to keep flogging this horse, but you're helping me think through some of the things I'm seeing with some of our more difficult employees, and even customers. The vaccinations have not removed their fear. They still want to enforce mask and vaccine mandates because they're a) clinging to their hysteria and b) getting some sort of validation of "moral superiority" (or something) by being on the "right side" of this issue.

But you've raised a good point, there could be something as insanely irrational as thinking that the vax confers immortality. I just don't get it, especially coming from people who are at essentially zero risk of any serious illness from this bug.

I think laws 2,3 and 4 are what we are dealing with here:

We are those who have watched a corrupt FDA for decades.

We are capable of understanding data, and reading studies to understand when the conclusions are warranted and when they are not.

We have watched as conclusions are driven by politics and NOT the data.

I am not a medical expert but I am and have been skeptical from the beginning. First off, my family were Downwinders from the Nevada nuclear tests so we don’t trust the “benevolent” government. Second, following vaccinations, my cousin’s 36-year-old healthy son developed a sudden autoimmune disease and passed away after more than six weeks in the ICU, my daughter suddenly developed a seriously low homoglobin condition for which the doctors can’t find a cause, my brother and sister-in-law got Covid months after their shots, and yesterday my sister, age 71, had minor surgery on an eye and passed away after her heart stopped on the operating table and they couldn’t revive her. These may all be coincidences but I don’t feel like taking more chances with our genetic heritage.
