“Florida also has some of the best farms and cattle ranches in the country,
Not what I think of when I think of Florida. Can someone point to a cattle ranch in Florida?
In-N-Out-N-Gone
It would be great if Florida could steal such a California company away from it’s longtime home. Nice big black eye for Gavin.
Florida would get some excellent quality fast-food burgers if In-N-Out expanded there. Prepare to be disappointed by the fries, though.
Huge cattle ranch near my property in gulf County, panhandle, east of Panama city.
Deseret Ranches
Also Known as the Mormon Ranch. Deseret Ranches is what we long time Floridians call the Mormon Ranch. At about 295,000 acres, it is one of the largest cow-calf cattle ranches in the United States. It is 10 times larger than Walt Disney World and has been in Central Florida a lot longer.
She’s as cute as the O’Henry heiress!

Neither did I until I drove through the center, then down the small town areas on the west coast.
Clara Pell wouldn’t having a problem, if you get my drift.
Deseret Ranches and the Seminole tribe are major beef cattle producers in Florida.
Mostly in the northern part and the ‘armpit’ area..............
That location is near my house. Huge hubub when they opened. My friend waited in line to get receipt 000001 as the first customer. Lynsi tried to get it from him, in exchange for all kind of In-N-Out perks, but he wouldn’t budge. Said she was a very nice person, and was so grateful to him for his enthusiasm for the product !
Cattle ranching is historically an important part of the Florida economy. Google and you will find dozens. The largest is Deseret Ranches.
I know there’s some in Polk, Hardee, and Highlands Counties in Central FL
Cattle ranching in Florida is a $500-million-a-year business, and if you drive through the byways of Central Florida, you’ll get a glimpse of it.
The best way to learn about cattle ranching in Florida, however, is to take a tour of Deseret Ranches — the largest “cow-calf” cattle ranch in the United States, in fact. vast – 290,000 acre.

We dined at a Lakewood store last month. I make at least one visit each time we head west.
According to the article, they discussed expansion to Florida, not re-location. I think their product would do well there.
I’ve lived in Florida the past 4 years and there are many cattle ranches in the mid central to north central parts of the state.
Surprised me too. I’d say in n out for Jax, Orlando, Daytona, the Panhandle, Space Coast and Treasure Coast, Tampa/St. Pete down to Naples. Anyplace from West Palm and south on the East coast don’t deserve it
