Thanks. In a few minutes you provided two examples of doctors saying things that people on this thread were claiming they would never say. And these doctors said it in public. Imagine how many more would say it in private.

I am of the educated opinion based on experience, that if one is trying to make a point, especially in a publication, that one uses the damaged liver in illustrating the damage incurred by alcohol, and most especially by a nurse who is trying to make a point about medical culture. She is full of soup. You work. Don’t tell me you can’t tell a phony trying to pass as a professional in your field.

There is a difference between wishing people would die and staying the patient is at end of life. There are cases where every heroic measure is being taken and the patient continues to suffer with no hope of recovery. You throw our every dishonest argument hoping something will stick.

Hope your are correct. But have heard personally from people sharing the same sentiment as this woman describes. Good to hear you suggest MD’s are not influenced by any zeitgeist around.

Well based on comments personally heard and written on this forum I could say the same about antivaxxers. However this RN doesn’t speak like and RN and probably has about eight seconds of experience and is hoping to gain a little fame but impugning physicians. She probably didn’t have the grades to get into medical school and is playing the roll of frustrated non doctor.
No matter the topic, I am tired of videos of insignificant people sitting in a seat in their car talking to me like I give a s*&t about them. Even when I agree with them. It is off-putting to me.
They are doing more than wishing. They are acting with a bias to that outcome.
I don’t know first-hand about docs verbally wishing for patients’ deaths. I do I’ll never forget the glare I got from an ER doctor when I said, “No”, when he asked me if I had been vaxxed. If looks could kill...

We take care of as many as 100 covids in our hospital at a time. I’ve never heard a doctor or any healthcare worker say that.
