We’re having Thanksgiving roadkill!
And while AMERICANS struggle to put scarce, expensive food on the table, the parasitic
gimmee Bidens will be eating royally on luxe Nantucket in a billionaires mansion.
Can you say Marie Antoinette?

Prices didn’t effect us at all. There are only four for Thanksgiving Dinner this year:
Turkey - been frozen since last year when I bought it and ended up not needing it. 9.5# bird. Brined it and it roasted up real nice. ($3.70)
Mashed Potatoes - from our garden. $0
Honeynut Squash - from our garden. $0
Green Beans & Bacon - from our garden. (Bacon was already on hand.) $1.00
Stuffing - 2 boxes of Stove Top, dressed up with apples, onions & celery - $2.00 total.
Pumpkin Pie - Pumpkin from the garden, homemade crust for pennies, can of condensed milk, a little sugar & spices already on hand. I’ll be generous and call it $1.00. ;)
So, under $10 for a meal for four and yummy leftovers.
Bring it, ‘Brandon!’
Nantucket Estate housing the Bidens. Oops, there goes the neighborhood.......
Biden parasites LIKE living large ON OUR DIME.
Interesting how nobody in the superwealthy group seems to be fearing sea level rise from climate change...
Honestly, this sounds like my kind of dinner. I prefer ham any day of the year, including today.
Wife has ratcheted down the feast this year. It will be good, no doubt, just not quite as bountiful a table. I was dispatched to get some broccoli heads the other day, and the cost was over $7 for a smallish bag. So, after a phone consultation, that casserole didn't make the cut. No pecan pie, but the pumpkin pie will have some nuts on top... some sort of crunchy topping, which she's never done, but sounds good.
Aside from the turkey, the meal will feature her mother's unbelievable rice dressing, and honestly, I'd be satisfied to just eat a plate of that.
I have a 22 pound turkey I bought on sale at the end of last year .... pretty big bird on the ‘cheap’!
My SIL bought a 12 pounder last Sunday for my brother to smoke.
I was wiped out last night (cooked all day) around 9 pm when I got a call. My brother was laughing so hard, he could barely talk. “Somehow” (too much wine??) he got MY turkey out & was brining it instead of HIS turkey. He was very puzzled at how LARGE his 12 lb turkey was looking! My turkey has been in their extra fridge since Wednesday of last week to thaw .... I don’t think he realized that was going on.
Anyway, it dawned on my SIL that there was probably a mix-up and after they got the turkeys straightened out, she got him to call & confess. After laughing ourselves silly, we’re all ok. My turkey (in the oven being roasted) will be very juicy after a few hours of brining. His was still a bit frozen this morning - he had it in the sink trying to finish thawing so he could start the smoking, but it should be ok.
The Turkey Chronicles of 2021 - always something going on! The way things are going for bag-of-bones sh!t-for-brains Brandon, he’s eating a lot of ‘crow’ these days, feathers & all. :-)
Happy Thanksgiving!!
The “seasonal fruits” ticked me off for New England fare! At least serve up some apples and pears with the strawberries and melon. And WT actual with the kid’s buffet? Kids don’t love turkey and mashed potatoes? More child abuse with that array of “white food” instead of what the adults are eating. I really can’t stand these people.

LOL...climate change is as smart as the china virus....it knows exactly which areas to avoid 🤣
Happy Thanksgiving!
DIL raised some lively birds which were still alive yesterday morning. I’m in charge of cooking the 33lb boy, making gravy and assembling a requested cucumber - radish salad. We have about 8 radish varieties in the walk-in, but I am going for the red meat/watermelon radishes :) My mother stopped in yesterday for pie apples, also grown here. Everything else will have been raised on the farm or local. Oh, and the grandchildren will eat the same food as us!
Baby Back Ribs on the Grill...
Celebrated Thanksgiving last weekend in Michigan...
Go Lions!
My cost was up this year, but that’s mainly cause my local winco had a “get a free turkey if you spend over $100” special going since the 13th of this month. So, now I have 3 extra turkeys in my freezers. Spatchcocking and smoking the turkey today. I may post a link to MamaShawnas Bitchin Kitchen later.
I’ll be there soon.. can you stretch it to dinner for 5?
We are having an Ethiopian chicken.
5.56mm
Baked Ham sounds mighty good.
What! No broccoli?
I hope that their chocolate fountain fares better than the unsupervised one I saw at a wedding ... the kids must have dipped everything they could find into that fountain.
At least after all of those carbs, the kids will be racing around that mansion for a while.
(The kids menu almost sounds white trashy, except we know there is no white trash in Delaware any more.)
Yeah......only we, the people, get harrangued with c/c crapola.
I won’t say no.
