That’s a pickup truck with a snow blade. It wasn’t a bigger municipal snow plow that caught fire.

Back in the day when I lived in the Bay Area, I used to go and ski at Royal Gorge whenever I could. Loved that place.

Anyone with a strong grasp of reality knows that ICE cars have been catching fire for various reasons for decades...

There’s also a case, covered by the Forensic Files episode Plastic Fire, where a Ford vehicle caught fire due to the ignition switch design defect and they charged the driver with arson.

Depending on the age of that Ford, the cause of the fire could have been:

1)Faulty cruise control switch (recalled)

2)Faulty ignition switch (recalled—for some models)

3)Poor spade lug connection to 2G alternator (no recall)

I've been to the Woodstock in Illinois that is the subject of this article (896 miles from the one in New York) several times. Fortunately, I didn't stay over in the same bed and breakfast that Bill Murray's character supposedly stayed while filming Groundhog Day there. I got to actually leave the same day.

In the video, they mentioned 8,000 FIRES!!!

Just wow!

My neighbor had a new Ford take out his garage and house...
There were investigators visiting the ruins for many months.
They were not allowed to demo the burnt-out shell of the house!

Would it be OK if I called you as an expert witness when discussing auto fires with pseudo-experts that claim only EVs catch fire?
