After I posted it, I realized that was what you might be saying. I was thinking of a bad effect with blood thinners meant risk of excessive bleeding, but a fair reading of the post could also mean that it would negate the blood thinners. When I saw another poster and I were on the same side of an issue, I started looking for where I was wrong.

you might find this very interesting. I’ve been doing a ton of researh on fascia and how it is essentially THEE problem when it comes to body pain. It gets dried out and/or scarred and then you can be pulled out of alignment and or your nerves and muscles are constricted causing issues.

I had a history of kidney stones related to dehydration. I supplement with D and have for years - no stones. I do supplement with K2 and magnesium as well - my daily threesome.

The author says we can get all the K we need from leafy greens. That would be K1, the form that has no known impact on heart health.

Also, I live in Arizona and spend a lot of time outdoors - with long sleeves (particularly in the summer) and my Tilley hat to shade my face. I have no idea if I get much vitamin D from the sunshine that gets past or not.

Free vitamin D from sunshine. Come on up to Idaho. Latitude N42. Blue skies, sunshine and +24F ambient. Go ahead take your shirt off. Soak up those rays while waiting for the frostbite to begin. You could delay your trip until June. That avoids the frostbite, but the sunlight is still ineffective at N42.

Even during the supply chain issues last winter I saw fresh kale, spinach, lettuces, collards and turnip greens all throughout the winter at the grocery stores.

Yes, my parathyroid was checked- twice- (I hated the tests as i can’t stand anything on my neck- just a weird thing with me- all my collars are stretched out lol- the woman who did the test remarked about how tense i was during the test)- My docs thought sure it was the parathyroid, but the test results said no-

[[there’s extensive, peer reviewed research available in pubmed.gov regarding the essential role of K2 MK-7 (and MK-4 to a lesser extent) in keeping calcium in the bones and out of the tissues such as coronary, cranial and other arteries, which is extremely important since calcium is the primary component of most arterial plaques which cause atherosclerosis ...]]

Thanks, yeah i was under the imrpession it was essential to keep calcium in hte bones- or redirect it back to them-

[[basically, Suzy Cohen is an ignorant huckster who’s primaryly interest is in selling her line of snake oil:]]

Yep- that’s what i felt- Seen too many hucksters who are out to sell their own brand of stuff make claims that aren’t backed up by science or the facts-

This article really bothered me, because he conflates K1 with K2. He says hey you can get K in your diet easily! Then almost all the sources he list only provide K1. He badly exaggerates how much K2 you can you make in your intestine. Maybe we had intestine as long as a gorilla, but humans do not achieve adequate fermentation in their gut.

The far more interesting health benefits are from K2.

You can get K2 from meat, especially various kinds of liver and simple pork. Fermented milk products are probably the best source, like blue cheese.

The higher numbered K2’s are more effective and lasting in the bloodstream. There are many K2’s above MK-7 that are in fermented milk products and cheeses.

If you really must supplement then consider just eating a bit of natto instead for MK-7. It’s amazing how little you need. Personally I’d rather eat tasty blue cheese and pork

Continued...

Yogurt and Kefir also have K2, but make sure to get the full fat versions. The proportion of k2 directly correlates with fat content

The parathyroid is first checked by a blood test. The adenoma can be difficult to see thru tye CT scan as they are so small and can hide. My parathyroid levels have between 120-150 for 5 years (normal is around 40) and the adenoma still hasn’t shown up. I don’t want to have a surgery with them hunting for it. Anyway, elevated calcium and the parathyroid blood levels is how the disorder is diagnosed.

I understand what you are saying. If one drinks a 6 pack of beer some will experience the symptoms as you described the next day. The symptoms of Hypercalcemia in my case are entirely different. It differs from muscle and joint pain. https://www.healthline.com/health/hypercalcemia#causes

the problems with fascia can (and probably do) have a common thread with hypocalcemia as they are both related to mineral imbalance and/or deficiency. The main electrolytes are calcium, magnesium, potassium & sodium and when they are skewed you can see problems.

Another mineral that is critical (they are all critical IMO) is boron as boron will stop the calcification that can occur on the parathyroid gland and the pineal gland, which is between the eyes and prone to calcification.

They did blood tests on me, then two ultra sound tests. I dontmknow what the PTL level was, ill see if they even tested that. I will check my calcium levels today, as I have the results from several tests..

I went to the following site, and my goodness, the symptoms are almost slot, spot,, including kidney damage, kidney stones, liver levels off, (thougn that could have been from another issue I had), memory and concentration problems (suffer from bad “brain fog” which docs “think” is due to chronic fatigue and or fibromyaliga, both of which they claim I have- I have my doubts though), need nap during day to recharge, can’t miss them or,them or i get really run down, i even wake up mornings exhausted.. several other symptom too.

Been 30,years tryingmto figure out what hit me. Was always a hyperactive person, hardly slept, worked and played hard, then whamo! Something pulled the rug right out from under me. Right in the prime of life too. It’s been 30 long exhausting years of searching For the answer. Painful years really.

Anyway, here is the site- some pretty good info:

https://www.parathyroid.com/parathyroid-symptoms.htm

I have nearly all,the symptoms except, the heart problems, high blood, pressure, headaches, thinning hair. All,the others I have, including the high protein In blood, and kidney damage (stage 3 for me). The stones have been brutal. Doc put me on allopurinol, and haven’t had stones lately though. Seems to be helping.

Afar as the surgery, I dont think it’s too hard for,the to find, the tumor, but not sure. Seems, like,it’s such a smallish area that they should be able to find it pretty quick. Seems like a minimally invasive surgery

Don’t know,if you you can stomach surgery vids? Seems like they check all,the glands at the same time, and its,it’s, a, 10 minute use surgery only
If,it doesn’t bother you? here’s a vid- doesn’t look,bad at all

I’m so glad you found that page. It’s very informative. The Dr has a clinic in Florida dedicated to parathyroid disorders. .but, your endocrinologists may be the type of dr who would normally treat it. When you said you had stones, I thought I should bring it up to you. Very few people know about hyper parathyroidism. Apparently the adenoma/s can hide and the size doesn’t necessary reflect how bad it is. Meaning the adenoma however big or small can cause the symptoms. The blood test goes under the initials PTH.
It’s crazy to read the symptoms and realize that it may be just what the problem is. If you don’t mind, let me know what you find out.

yeah, in that surgery video- they got the main tumor, but checked the 3 other glands, and found one that was very small, and they removed that one too-, and they tested the other 2 to see if they were ‘asleep’ (not producing extra hormone- i guess)

I gotta find my med reports to check the calcium levels- I think though they were normal, my doc woudla mentioned if they weren’t
