Well, it’s nice to see you admit being a Russian apologist.

Yes, I did read the Minsk agreements a few years ago (there were actually two, neither of which were ratified or became law).

You are naïve (or being intentionally deceptive) to think Russia would not influence the politics of the Donbas, which would directly influence the politics of Ukraine. That’s not necessarily a criticism of Russia; hell, Great Britain used to do such things as a matter of course.

You are buying the Ukrainian propaganda line and sinker. Both Minsk agreements were signed by Ukrainian leaders and made into law by the resolution of the UN security council. According to the Ukrainian Constitution, they are a part of the Ukrainian legal system.
Is Russia going to influence someone or not is a secondarily issue and barely worthwhile. Should the US strip Southwest and Oregon off of electoral rights due to possible Canadian or Mexican influence? Yes or no? Should people in Iowa be fired from government jobs and get banned from customer service for only speaking English, but not the Sioux language? Yes or no? Should Americans be disarmed because they might turn their guns against the government and be prosecuted for being a part of the militia? Yes or no?
This is what Minsk agreements are about. It is a sad day when Russia supports freedom and democracy, whereas the US the tyrannical side of it.

Talk about red herrings! It has nothing to do with Indian languages, or militias, or drinking Molson beer or eating tacos. It has nothing to do with national “electoral rights.”

Russia does NOT want an independent Ukraine. Indeed, Russia has called for Ukraine to be reconstructed as a confederation of autonomous regions, with each region free to chart its own destiny. That is the exact opposite of national “electoral rights,” as there would be no nation of Ukraine!

You say that Russia supports freedom and democracy. What you are really saying is Russia supports freedom and democracy on Russian terms and by Russian definitions. Kind of like the freedom and democracy of the Soviet republics, eh?

Do you work for TASS?

What was that rant?:) What you have just described is not in the agreements, it is what the critics are saying and it only takes to read it to see they are wrong.
Did you know that there is no vote in the Ukrainian-controlled parts of Donbas?
You sound perfectly un-American right now.

Too funny! You do know, I assume, that pro-Russian Ukrainians in the Donbas were allowed to vote in RUSSIA’s elections last year? Well, anyway, in the DPR and the LPR, and the Russian-occupied areas of Donbas. You’ve heard of the DPR and the LPR, haven’t you? You know, those areas of eastern Ukraine that declared independence from Ukraine, and waged — and are still waging — a separatist war against the Kiev government? A war supported by Russia, with Russian materiel and assets?

Of course you know that.

Damn straight he knows that. It’s his job to deflect away from the truth of the Russian occupation.

I hope for the Ukrainian people, peace. But if Russia invades I look forward to seeing Russians die via Stingers and Javelins. The Russians will be surprised by the “random attacks” that will come in Voronezh. Russians may want to avoid the bus system for awhile.

They can take Ukraine, they will not hold it.

Guys, you have to learn how to keep score.

How do you pay for weapons you build within your own country? Important question.

Answer, for the US, you have the Federal Reserve create money from thin air and pay workers internally with it to build weapons.

Answer, for Russia, you have your Central Bank create money backed by oil and natural gas sales and pay workers internally with it to build weapons.

The US imports millions of barrels of oil per day. Life in the US ends if oil doesn’t exist because food cannot be grown or move. The Russians and Saudis are not stupid, nor frankly, is Canada. A day will come when they will inform the US they are no longer interested in being paid for oil with pieces of paper printed by the Federal Reserve.

Then, and only then, does it get ugly.

And the problem is? If you are depriving your country’s citizens of their civil rights, someone else grants them it. Isn’t it fair?

LOL. You are so funny, Junior. Your advocation of terrorism isn’t funny though. What would be your reaction when foreign powers are going to gain influence in Mexico and use it as a base to wage alike terror war against Americans? You wouldn’t even have legit arguments to call it wrong.
The bottom line is that Russia never deserved the sort of treatment it receives at the hands of your governments over the last 30 years.
It is perfectly equipped to bring it back and then some.

“The bottom line is that Russia never deserved the sort of treatment it receives over the last 30 years.”

Greetings comrade, peace be with you in Russia. The Russians deserved every treatment. You consorted with Hitler to divide Europe, exterminated millions of others and Russians and ran Gulag Stasi concentration camps in entire nations that you enslaved.

Now, Russia merely bullies and takes land through 1930s tactics, much like their former Nazi allies.

“It is perfectly equipped to bring it back and then some.”

LMFAO...it barely handled Georgia, losing 6 fighter jets. The Russian/Soviet military days are gone.

FU Russian Troll. You dirty Russians will die in surprising numbers. You brag about the Russians taking George. LOL. Big deal. All they did is prove that they still haven’t managed to master logistics, taking a small kid on the block.

Funnier, was losing “hi tech jets”, losing 6 to the Georgians.

The Russian ability to project power is very limited. For instance, they are pulling ships and amphibious capability from the Baltic fleet, Pacific fleet and Arctic fleet to send to Ukraine.

“the amphibious capability is absolutely necessary”

It shows the inability of the Russians to deploy and project force without hurting their other commands.

Former power, Russia.

“And the problem is? If you are depriving your country’s citizens of their civil rights, someone else grants them it. Isn’t it fair?”

Russian citizens in the Donbas (i.e., Russian passport holders) were not allowed to vote in Ukrainian elections. But Ukrainian citizens were. You obviously have a problem with that, because you are a Russian apologist. And you never answered one of my previous questions: Do you work for TASS? I think you do.

“(i.e., Russian passport holders) were not allowed to vote in Ukrainian elections. But Ukrainian citizens were”

For all the talk of Russian apologism, are you a Ukraininan propagandist?
Can you provide a source for this statement? What Russian passport holders are on the Ukrainian controlled territory? If true, how do they identify dual citizens?

You are now supporting evil and making up stuff to support the amoral position.

Biden administration is doing the same thing and you can guess why the American influence in the world is dwindling.
