We had verizon for a few years. were stuck with it with landline phone. There was a disputed amount in our favor that they wanted us to wait until it processed thru their system. I had the audacity to take the credit early...
Verizon cut off every method of communication for our family while my husband was having major back surgery. I had to ask my mother-in-law if I could use HER phone to call them. The teenagers were NOT happy.
We then had ATT when we moved back to TX. Wished we had switched to PureTalk earlier too. THOUSANDS could’ve been saved.
I dropped Verizon like a hot potato when I got a text saying that I was about 100gb over my plan’s data limits — one day after getting a new device from them and starting a new plan. (Our limit for years had been 2gb/month, and we rarely even used 1gb/month.)
It was the morning of the day we were to start a long road trip, and I was panicked. NOBODY would help me. I vomited I was so upset. But I had no choice but to use it for the trip; no time to go elsewhere.
The day I returned from my trip, I took the POS device back to Verizon and cancelled my service — which we had had for 20 years. Went to T-Mobile and got two devices with unlimited everything for $70. No contract, either.
