Putin had a choice. He could have stopped at the two territories that were predominantly russian (like he did in Crimea). Putin is NOT a good guy. Just because we have a corrupt gov’t doesn’t mean he’s an angel. It’s possible both are terrible so trying to back one over the other is just stupid.
Let’s be intellectually honest here. Putin is not a good guy and he has overreached. he has choices. And the West has behaved poorly too. But two wrongs never make it right.

The use of this type of weapon on Ukrainian civilians would be antithetical to all of his declared and assumed strategic and tactical goals.
I’d expect Biden, Austin and Milley to drop thermobaric bombs on a large gathering of conservative patriots before I’d expect Putin to turn the entire world against him by doing something like this

Judging from the verbal fisticuffs here on FR in just this thread, it almost seems to indicate the level of victory our communist masters in DC have achieved in disassembling the United States...

The problem is Putin believed his own propaganda. He thought the Ukrainian people would greet him as a liberator and he could merge Ukraine back into Russia.
The danger is he now has only two options:
1) Give up on controlling Ukraine
2) Impose Russia on them Stalin style with a vast blood toll..
I hope he is still sane enough for the first option.

Can’t argue with that. Clearly NOTHING can be trusted and there’s a whole let of push to try to make it seem that Russia is losing...yet one can here gunfire on the live feeds in Kiev.
Given the numerous BS claims out there I don’t give this report any credence until the bombs go off.
