…or make sure none of them IS yours.
I use “poiuyt” everywhere and have never had a problem.
At least “1q2w3e” shows a wee bit of cleverness.
I have so many passwords that I need a file to keep them in.
Password protected of course. But even if someone busted that they would get a doc with a bunch of jibberish.
But I speak jibberish so....
Hey wait - I think I just found a new password!

That’s the combination an idiot would have on his luggage.
My passwords include things like the serial number on the M14 I carried in BCT, The tail number of the plane I flew in flight school, the 1974 CA plate number on my ‘74 FX and the old alpha numeric 7 digit phone number of the house I grew up in and moved out of in 1966. Pretty secure I’m thinking.
My password for many years was “CaseyKasemisfinallydead”
If your password is long, it’s not secure. Try using this to generate passwords you can remember.

Whew! Assman is still good.
Easy - buy a book and write down all sites - one site to each page. Than use the first of 30 lines to put in password. The other lines can be used for any changes over the years - change and date of change. They can’t hack a bound journal... and passwords don’t have to ‘be easy’...
My new password: Fu@kj0EbidEn
Pretty secure?
Unless I announce it over the internet...
5.56mm
...and then there's "FranciscoFrancoisstilldead"...
;>)
So is 333333 so I am good to go. Oh wait.
That’s the stupidest combination I ever heard in my life. That’s the kind of thing an idiot would put on his luggage.
it is 10 years, since my office of personnel management, my bank, my yahoo account, and my dept of defense files were hacked by the chicoms, under obama.
now, you are telling me, even after watching ‘spaceballs’, that supposedly smart Americans, are still using ‘12345’ as their password???!!??
wow!
Invest in a password application like LastPass where you can generate passwords of significant length (14 digits should be minimum goal). My home network uses 30 digit passwords to protect.
I was sorry that thread was taken down. I liked reading what you had to say and the comments were funny and kind of cute.
1Password! works for those places that want capitals, numbers, and punctuation...
“Thank god…Pencil is not on the list”
