A stunt that leaves retailers holding products they paid for but now cannot sell.
We all know Sununu is a RINO.
However, 20 million in sales is not a small customer.
I would think the US importer of Stoli’s vodka is having a bad week.
And then China.
Do China made..
That’s when it gets really fun
Isn’t that special.
Vodka has already been purchased so this does nothing but virtue signal and hurt liquor retailers...
Stupid empty gesture to make people feel good as if they are helping. Gov. DeWine followed right along with this, he has an affinity for the stupid.
They punish business owners who have already bought the Russian made items. Would be less punishing to say they can no longer purchase supplies from Russian dealers, but can sell current stock.
If the vodka is already on the shelves, it’s likely already paid for. Not being able to sell it hurts the local (American) vendors.
PA has also pulled all Russian vodka products from the PA State Stores’ shelves.
Ontario govt. run liquor stores did the same. Bye bye Stolichnaya for now anyway!
petty virtue signalling
Peasants - you may not drink Russian vodka now!
These are STATE of NH retail stores. Not independent package stores.
ALL liquor sold in the state of NH is sold through State Liquor stores. They sell at “wholesale” prices. Cheap enough that people from other states drive to NH to buy their booze.
Sununu said the move is mainly symbolic...
SYMBOLIC. Enough said.
Do China made..
That’s when it gets really fun
There ya go. Let’s see the virtue signalers do away with their precious Made in China crap.
I’m sure the victims of the war are deeply moved by that useless gesture
State of NH Liquor stores.
Symbolic but ok.
PUCK FUTIN!
So taxpayers will take the losses, still stupid.
That’s interesting. I know when Ohio had state stores a lot of folks came to Indiana retailers for better price.
Another executive order. Nothing is legislated anymore.
