If they’ll create a truck that can haul 80klbs for over 1,000 miles, between charges, then I’ll be interested.
Sorry, I forgot my sarcasm tag. :)
GM does not have management able to overcome their current miasma, let alone beat Tesla at anything.
Go off road with an electric vehicle? What’s it called? The “Oxymoron”?
The only way they will s8cceed in selling electric pickups is to make it very difficult to buy real pickups.
I think car dealers days are numbered. Tesla and other start up EV companies are not going down the dealership model road. Dealerships also will have a large reduction in their service department revenue which is a greater profit source then new car sales. Ford has set up a Blue and Red team for ICE and EV vehicles. I see the hand writing on the wall. The ICE group either gets spun off or dies a slow death. The EV become the dealer less business model. Going to be a rough ride for the old style auto Mfg business model. Note Sony & Honda are working together on basically a contract business model. Tighten your seatbelts, it going to get bumpy.....
I told my wife this weekend, people can’t afford $5 a gallon gas do these tree hugging kooks think they can afford a $60K electric car, are they really that stupid? Yes.
I wouldn’t touch a GM car with a vaccinated crowbar in the first place and now GM EV POS. No!
At best with a greatly reduced priced tag they might get me into a Toyota Hybrid Highlander where I have a gas engine back up. But in reality I am just not interested in the least in EV’s.
They are all losers. Electric vehicles were a dead old idea that never worked. And still make no sense.
By the way, what ever happened to the burning ship full of autos that were torched by electric cars on board?
Can’t have an individual start-up getting ahead. GM is too big to fail. Quick! Give them some more bail-out money!
It burned itself out and they will tow it to port............
lol
Chevy has trucks and the Corvette.
Ford has trucks and the Mustang.
Dodge has trucks and a soon to be ending Redeye.
The rest of their lineup have been losers.
Tesla is a good 10 years lead on Detroit.
The dinosaurs were too big to fail, but they did.
The Roman Empire was too big to fail, but they did.
The Spanish Empire was too big to fail, but they did.
The British Empire was too big to fail, but they did.
The Soviet Empire was too big to fail, but they did.
GM is no different..................
Hahaha...no way...are they really making a new Chevy Citation?
You figure that name would be enough to drive them to find another name...:)
As I have posted numerous times...once these lunatics have forced us out of gasoline and diesel vehicles, they will then announce electric vehicles are not practical at a large scale of ownership. There will be no way the electric grid can charge millions of such EV’s.
Then, the government will outlaw the building of any more of those electric vehicles and Americans will be left with NO PERSONAL VEHICLES AT ALL.
I was joking, but nothing would surprise me at this point.
Dunniest damn movie I’ve ever seen (including Blazing Saddles).
That is exactly what will happen.
At some point, the ICE will become illegal to manufacture, sell, own or operate........................
Or Funniest. Whichever...
