The obvious one was Talk To Ya Later by The Tubes, ain’t no way anyone on The Tubes could play that solo.
Anything by Bon Jovi and anything like them qualify as well. People dunked on the Monkees. SMH.
Sure Gonna Miss Her (Gary Lewis and the Playboys) lead licks were Tommy Tedesco. Gary Lewis said there was no way any of his guys could play that.
The backing tracks for the Association songs were Wrecking Crew.
