We toured a dairy farm that was completely run by computers. Of course, HUMANS still had a hand in it, and were needed for repairs, etc.
It was pretty cool. Every cow was chipped. She could come into the barn when she wanted to be milked, and get fed. She walked through a scanner and that showed if she really was there to be milked, or just wanted a snack. If it was the latter, she was pushed back out to the lot, LOL!
Her chip measured her milk output, what she ate, her temperature,weight, general health; everything about her.
I thought it was cool. Seemed pretty efficient, actually.
