Complaining about DUCKDUCKGO censorship on TWITTER is the height of irony!!!!!

I would like to decide what’s misinformation for myself.

You never thought you would hear this but there’s now a search engine that’s actually faster and more accurate than Google. It’s Bing. Bing just blazes! You hit enter and the results are in your face in an instant. And they are more relevant and with better layout than Google imo. As if that weren’t enough do a search on ‘2000 mules’. On Bing the official site is the number one result. On Google it does not even appear on the first page. You just see a bunch of anti Trump bs. Next do a search on ‘election theft 2020’ and compare the results. If more people found out how good Bing has become there would be a mass defection from Google.

I know Brave is a browser....the posts were making it sound like there is a Brave search, as well. At least, that’s how I was reading them.

I just checked, under Settings, and there is NO Brave search. I’ve had Startpage selected, for some time.

What is Qwant? Anyone know? It is one of the search engine choices. Never heard of it.

You’re spreading misinformation right now. There’s no evidence they are censoring Covid or vaccines searches. If there is, provide it.

I get in this situation they do not wish to be a provider of Russian propaganda in the war effort. I don’t need such things to be evaluated for me but it’s not a problem for me either.

I agree with you that Bing is much faster than Google or DDG. I believe on the back-end DDG uses Google for searching, they just do a better job of re-ordering so that it's not all lib Dim BS on top like it is with Google.

However, I respectfully disagree with you that Bing has little propaganda issues. It's been forever since I used Bing for other than search IT stuff (since I often use Microsoft products I like Bing because it tends to default to Microsoft-specific web pages for Microsoft program languages and such). I quit using it for non-IT searches years ago because I found it to be at least half as bad at Dim propaganda as Google.

DuckDuckGo uses Bing as a back end.

Startpage uses Google as their backend.
