They screamed for years “not enough blacks at the Oscars”. Then they had more blacks and the inevitable happened. Oscars had to make this move or people might mistake the Oscars for a Miami airport.
I don’t watch the Oscars, but I have heard from reliable sources that Will was laughing along with Chris Rock until he saw Jada’s face and only then did he slap Chris Rock. We know who calls the shots in that relationship and it ain’t Will.
I don’t think Will’s anger was feigned, just displaced. He’s probably really angry at Jada for cheating on him, but he knows it’s not acceptable to hit your wife, so he takes it out on someone else instead. Heck, he’s probably angry at himself for putting up with it for so long. If you’re a movie star and you could choose between quite a wide selection of women, why would you stay with one who disrespects you and makes a fool out of you, unless deep down you don’t really respect yourself either?

IIRC 9 years ago Orlando Bloom's wife also fooled around on him and he threw a punch at Justin Bieber. Nobody said that this was inevitable when white guys become movie stars. We have enough fools on the left making this about race without adding to it.
Speaking as someone who has been cheated on in the past, it's a miserable experience. Miserable people often lash out and do things they later regret. Race has nothing to do with it.
I haven’t “attended” the Oscars for about 45 years, so who gives a crap?
