Bostic knew as he ran into the fire wearing a pair of shorts that he was going to get hurt. He showed true courage, running into extreme danger and at the risk of his own life to save some children.

OK, that's dark humor but true. Every officer wearing body armor and carrying a firearm who stood around in Uvalde should be forced to watch the video of Mr. Bostic running away from a burning house with the child he saved in his arms. He doesn't stop until he hands the child to the fireman, and he is seriously injured.
While the police and firemen are giving him first aid he asks if the baby is ok.
That guy is a hero, no doubt. One thing I thought was interesting, and I know I’m going to catch flak for this, was the cop telling the guy who just risked his life to save kids’ lives, suffering from smoke inhalation, and totally exhausted, that he needs to move across the street. That’s just an example of cops gotta cop, no matter the situation.
Thankfully he got there before the cops prevented him from saving lives.
Not yet but over in the comments section below the Daily Mail article, some wokester has already asked if he would have saved the children if they were black.
