What they don’t know is how relieved the non-vegetarians are at this fact.
I would love to read more but I don’t let me iPad eat cookies.

“Horizontal hostility.... I was going in a whole other direction.”
Horizontal refreshments?
Vegetarianism and veganism appear to be motivated by the religious impulse to sacrifice. That is, by giving something up and adopting specific disciplines they hope to repent of their misdeeds, assuage their guilt, propitiate forces beyond their control, increase their good fortune, and obtain a better future.
Therefore, it is unsurprising that they form sects with doctrinal differences and mutual hostilities.
So far, they are not burning each other at the stake. But one may hope.
Do you know how to tell if someone is a vegetarian?
Sounds like they took the Frank Gorshin episode of Star Trek and made a feature movie out of it.
The question I always had is do vegan women swal..... never mind.
My step-daughter-in-law is as hardcore as they get, but she breast-fed her baby. Seems to go against everything she believes in. She doesn’t even eat honey.
For my SDIL it’s all about control. And she’s very willing to tell you that. Not just her own self-control, but the control of others. She controls what we cook and eat when she here (my wife and I disagree on this issue. I eat what I want, my wife eats the vegan fare.) Her husband is now a vegan though he used to go through a plate of rib or a big rib-eye like a starving dog. She won’t let anything non-vegan in their house, and he’s capitulated. It’s all about her. She is forced to sit on leather furniture while here though. She hates it and has said so.
Signifying nothing, I’ve had a recent experience with veganism.
I experienced daily periods of just being out of it and slept an hour or so. I learned that two medications hindered Vitamin B12 production and absorption. I started looking for B12 supplements and learned there are lots and lots and lots of them. Vegans all suffer from a near total lack of B12 and must take the supplements. So, there is a big market of Vegan directed B 12 supplements.
Second, I have experienced a serum protein deficiency. I have lab results indicating the less than normal value. The problem was thought to be associated with abdominal surgery and resultant inaction for several months. I gave up on my doctor’s attempts to remedy the problem and began a thorough look.
What I discovered was that the daily antiacid medication taken to rid gastric reflux had a very uncommon side effect of lowering serum protein levels. I began to take the drug just weeks before the surgery. I immediately stopped the drug. I looked for protein dietary supplements and guess what. Vegans suffer from protein deficiency and the Walmart protein supplements shelves have tons of products directed specifically toward vegans. Since most protein athlete supplements contain whey, vegans shun them.
So, bottom lone id that veganism is for at least two reasons very unhealthy. Absent the strong efforts of B12 and protein supplement makers, Vegan life is not possible. You just waste away as a vegan

Too much like roasting meat .... they won’t do that. /sarc
So I disagree with them I at least understand the thinking of the two groups preceded by the word health. The two groups preceded by the word ethical are just immature and ignorant
