Thank you Lord for keeping me childless. I agree with another FReeper....this person has been completely brainwashed by liberal left ideology so that now she has zero identity. She is utterly confused, rudderless, and dependant on the system for survival. No independent will. Sadly...unless she chooses better role models she may very well die from a fentanyl od. This is where people like her very often end up.

Prozac, Adderall, Ritalin, joined by "puberty blockers" these days. It was a topic very much in the news during the '90s what effect the widespread use of Ritalin on children would have on their future behavior. I think we have a good idea by now.
Maybe she really will wake up, and see that no one owes her a life, when she does nothing to make a life for herself.
I work in a medical capacity seeing children and adolescents daily — and I see this daily. It’s real, and it’s pathetic.
Good for the mom — most of these parents are as brainwashed as their idiot children.
Heartbreaking what “ teachers” have done to this generation.
Maybe while she is trying to “educate” her parents, she could clean up the room they are providing for her. I heard her Mother in the background mention something about “living in squalor”. Her parents appear to be providing her a room, and plenty of food to eat (along with hair dye), Wifi, and electricity.
Maybe she could look for (horror of horrors) a job, and a few room-mates who have been mis-gendered by their parents as well. They could pool their resources, hire a maid (obviously needed) and no longer need those evil boomer parents.
Just a suggestion.

Shortened forms are often acceptable although I do not approve as I feel they make communication unclear and therefore unreliable.
But no one asked me.
I think that if we go on the face value of what the adult child said. they are mentally ill. this is extremely hard on families. most schizophrenia suffers eventually are abandoned by family members because of how extremely difficult it is to deal with for familys. this is not woke stuff but would not be surprised if that was an issue. This is a family in distress when dealing with mental ill family member
I am sensitive to this because if I had not had strong parents when I was in my teen till mid 30s I would of been on the streets with mental illness. The chances of getting healthy once someone hits the street with mental illness is low and a likely outcome is eventually drug addiction
instead of laughing let’s pray that the family gets the help they need in dealing with this. My bet is the family does not want her on the street but are at wits end dealing with her

She’s a product of the victim focused current culture. Instead of overcoming obstacles, the cultural push today says everyone is a victim; and the training makes these kids not just helpless, but they seek helplessness as the currency.
Might want to include legalized pot in the grouping.
