I leave everything to my wife as well. If she dies before me, my will splits it between the kids.
While I don’t have a 25 million dollar estate, I imagine this arrangement is common.
Ashley made a bunch as an actress. Wynonna should have plenty from her career.

Girls had different fathers. Think I read that Naomi got pregnant her senior year but married someone who wasn’t the baby daddy. Naomi had a son and another daughter by the then-husband.
that’s just another red flag that the death should be thoroughly investigated.
My mother emails my brother and me each time there’s a substantial drop in the stock market to say, “Sorry, that’s it for your inheritance!”
I reply to the effect that I don’t care if she leaves her whole estate, other than a few sentimental tokens, to homeless cats, and I assume my brother does something similar.
It’s a sad situation for all the Ms. Judds. They were all so talented.
Ashley was A list for a while. If she’s blown it all then too bad for her. But she’s not the one complaining. I used to like her as an actress until she started spewing her vile beliefs. Now I can’t stand to see her on the screen.
That is not what happened, everything went into a trust or several trusts, we don’t know because the details of all this are not public.
At least the mother had a will and estate planning, Aretha Franklin died without any will at all and a $80 Million estate and the lawyers are making the big buck off that trying to settle it.
Regardless of circumstances, it looks really bad on Wynonna to be kicking up such a fuss. Especially since she obviously made millions on her solo career. She comes across as money-grubbing. Now she is probably getting herself cut out of the husband's Will.

According to other sources it was Wynonna who ran through the money and had the spending disorder.
