Here’s my pessimistic prediction for the next decade or longer.

Given the current trends, I would say you are still being overly optimistic.

One thing that even the pessimistic MUST understand in order to have a proper grasp on things is that the trend toward "Green" anything, especially as a response to some sort of impending climate doom, is not just some misguided foolhardiness that will lead to economic pain - it is a scam, a tool whose sole purpose is to facilitate the destruction of the world economy in order to replace it with the global government of the WEF's choosing. We are not passively sliding into failure - we are being bulldozed into it.

Once you understand that, then any prediction for the next 10 years that assumes the continued existence of current geopolitical dynamics and boundaries is going to being extremely off the mark.

Not entirely. From my understanding, only a couple of the Australian states went into full lockdown. And the Aussies DID launch some major protests that numbered in the tens of thousands.

They suffer from the same problem we do - a large, perhaps even majority segment of the population that has been completely brainwashed by the Leftists. Those people are like a cancer in every society. But I haven't given up on the Aussies yet.

Meanwhile, they, and every other Western country under siege, are waiting for the Americans to wake up and put those famous firearms to use and save the world. Again.

Quite correct, and since it is happening right before our very eyes should serve as yet another wake-up call.

In this context, of course, "corruption" and "gross management" applies to recent politicians over past decades who did not understand how to, or deliberately choose not to, protect our fragile concept of freedom against foreign objectives.

It appears today that 50% or more of our government is composed of such politicians and, if so, we are doomed as a nation (and this from an optimist).
