The article says studies show monkeypox is mainly transmitted sexually, but they NEVER call it an STD. Would calling it an STD stop homosexuals from having anonymous sex parties?

If skin contact was a big factor, then there would have been more of a spread of the pox from the infected “gay” men to their non-gay close friends/acquaintances. That was not happening.
Next (if not already known and not reported) will be some well known celebrity who gets revealed as having the pox.
Any thinking person without a strict orthodoxy already knows this.
