I don’t get it. How just in a matter of a few years does NYers go from Pataki and Guilliani (sp) to this creature, Hochul and pimp Adams? Yes I realize the other dems prior but I’m questioning the extreme lurch. Are all the people that voted repubic now dead? brainwashed? I just don’t get it.
“Interesting thing, I can’t find the actual poll or its methodology anywhere, not at the above or that Albany local news website.”
From Real Clear Politics: https://www.surveyusa.com/client/PollReport.aspx?g=7607a9f1-79ef-4f75-a707-4b3a462bea30
About the Poll / Filtering: SurveyUSA interviewed a total of 1,200 New York adults online 08/17/22 through 08/21/22, using sample provided by Lucid Holdings LLC of New Orleans. Of the adults, 1,046 were identified as being registered to vote. Of the registered voters, 715 were determined by SurveyUSA to be likely to vote in the November election for Governor. The pool of adult survey respondents was weighted to US Census targets for gender, age, race, education, and home ownership.
The poll is meaningless for several reasons:
1. On-line as opposed to telephone.
2. Only 87% of the people polled are even registered to vote.
3. Only 68% of the people polled are likely to vote.
4. The poll does not state the margin of error.
5. The poll does not state the location of the people polled.
These people are damn fools. At this point I don’t give a crap what happens to New York
The problem is that the USELESS NY GOP party calls the democrats and askes them “who is the worst candidate we can find to run against you” and then announce to the NY people who they are going to run.
Nevemind asking who the people want.
Also vote fraud. I found my voter registration had been filled out for me and that I had voted many times- when I was out of state.
More like spitting image of Cruella DeVille.
People in New York can’t be that stupid.
Bingo. Hammer, meet nail .....
NYcity plus Albany, and the other big cities have way more democrats than Republicans in all of the surrounding rural areas. This is why we can never let the electoral college be taken away from us. We’d never win an election again.
Been a long time since sanity!
Forget it Jake, it’s New York.
My hometown is in rural red upstate NY (Elise Stafanik’s district). However, the rural red counties are vastly outnumbered by the millions of liberal nitwits that infest NYC. This poll is no surprise.
Zeldin needn’t have bothered. Really no Republican should. Lost cause.
Simple. Electoral college for the states. Each downstate vote will count 1/10th of an upstate vote
I don’t give a crap about New York. What I do care about are all the leftist refugees — after voting for terrible leadership — that keep leaving the state and infecting well-run states with their cancerous poison…
she should be down by 20 points on her looks alone....damn, that is one ugly woman....
Yikes 😳
She is just about to turn 65. I wouldn't call her ugly on the outside, but she should spend more time and effort on the turkey neck than the eyebrows..
Not the party makeup, but here is an article from the NYT a week before the 1994 election showing Cuomo (Mario) ahead of Pataki by 10 points ....
--------------------------------------------
Among all registered voters, Mr. Cuomo leads Mr. Pataki in the poll by a 44 percent to 34 percent margin, with Mr. Golisano receiving 7 percent and Robert T. Walsh, the Right to Life Party nominee, receiving 3 percent. Ten percent said they were undecided. Mr. Cuomo trails Mr. Pataki by 42 percent to 21 percent in upstate New York, but leads him by 65 percent to 21 percent in New York City and by 48 percent to 36 percent in the New York City suburbs. In a previous New York Times/WCBS-TV News Poll, which was taken from Sept. 29 to Oct. 2, Mr. Pataki led Mr. Cuomo in the suburbs by 47 percent to 36 percent. The previous poll showed Mr. Pataki leading Mr. Cuomo statewide by 44 percent to 41 percent.

Yup- even Putnam county, which is just north of Westchester and 60 mins from NYC, went for McCain over obama in 2008.
Zeldin has to grow a pair, get into the black communities and ask them why the hell are they voting for demoKKKrats?? Illegals are now prioritized over blacks in NY.
