At the last place I worked there was a client that enjoyed walking in the rain. I enjoyed it too and it helped calm this person who was rather aggressively high strung at most times.
When I new employee arrived I explained that to be successful in that job a person needed to be prepared like a boy scout. I specifically talked through having a change of clothes and having seasonally appropriate clothing and protections available at all times.
The next day was a cool fall day it rained. The client walked. The new employee who had ignored everything I had said had arrived inappropriately dressed to be in any public setting. About a quarter mile into what was often an 8 mile walk, the newb was already on the phone complaining to the (ever clueless) recruiters that they had lied about the job then he immediately called and filed an complaint that the client and we as a company were racist because we made a black man walk in the rain.
I would have fired him but someone in upper level management chose to move him to another location where he ignored doing any work for at least the next 7 years.
It wasn’t carson, it was letterman and she flashed him.
Probably what caused his heart attack..................... 😁
The new guy did not want to walk in the rain with person paying the freight. Okay your client liked to do business while walking and walking in the rain, so what.
The new guy did not listen to one thing you said and resented catering to the client and files a complaint about him. If you had lost that client what would your company have done then?
I like walking, I would have been right at home with that guy. And walking 8 miles on top of that, man you are getting lots of exercise, out in the open, beautiful way of doing business.

You can find it on youtube, it was actually pretty funny. She was dancing in front of him, on top of his desk and she just lifted her shirt. The look on letterman’s face was priceless.
