That is a comment.
We were watching her in a Perry Mason episode from the 60’s. So cute with big beautiful eyes.
Even when she played nurse Ratchet, she was much prettier than the way they made her up for that part.
That was such an amazing movie.
She was a totally believable bitch in her role in “One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest.” This is an attribute to her immense skills as an actress. She was probably a really nice person. I will miss her skills in film.
I loved when nurses were all white uniforms and white hose and garters etc
It was hot
And they were skinnier
I can’t believe how fat hosp women workers are now
But I get lucky usually my cardio nurses are hot and young
I can still remember at around 9 I stayed with a buddy in his room on twin beds and his comely Nurse mom around aged 28-32 came in in her slip getting ready early with her big pointy brassiere on and she was buxom but slim and she got her gear and came over it being pretty early around 6-7 am and she kissed him goodbye and then leaned over and gave same to me on my cheek
I caught that flat tummy and her stocking feet and cleavage spilled around the top of the bra
She was tan it being summer in Natchez
I had no idea why of course at that age but I remember feeling a flush of warmth all over
I told my mom in later years and her being moms bestie since high school my mom said man she would die to know how you still remember that early moment of awakening
When she died of cancer in the late 2000s I said a small prayer and thanks for her
Ratchet was not unattractive despite the character personality
Good performances but not my sort of movie
I’ve known me some nurses as a grown man
You could do worse
A lot worse
Fatal attraction before it
Back in a time when Hollywood was still making movies...
And they usually vote Democrat!
(just kidding, kind of)
Yes, she was quite a lovely actress. Who was able to reach deep down and channel cold stern icy so that it warped her character's face. And then at the end, when we see her with the neck brace, she's been more or less humbled by McMurphy. They broke him, but he broke her first.
Cigarette smoking did help keep the weight off.
RIP!
Played her role to perfection. The caretaker for the opioid supply in the asylum.
A working Acress for more than 50 years.
A very attactive woman.
Never knew her politics.
A life well lived.
We should alll be so fortunate.
she was in “Brainstorm” - great 80’s scifi
I’m waiting for some news report of a healthcare worker tolling around in a Walmart Grocery Scooter at work. After all, some of those people must have jobs somewhere, right?
So, she’s not gonna be investigating any more murders while writing books?🤪
Very disturbing. The book and the movie are one reason we no longer have asylums for the mentally ill. Instead they’re living on the streets enjoying their “freedom” from Nurse Ratched.
They are also the slutiest profession - Nurses, regardless of attractiveness, seem to attract female sex fiends more than any other vocation.
I know
I loved it
True
My first cardiologist at mt Sinai
Smoked camel non filters
A French Jew
He was a pistol and then some
