There is significance. The suit was rejected at every level for lack of standing. Of course citizens have standing to bring a complaint about one man one vote issues. Other suits by leftist organizations on behalf of voter suppression of minorities and illegals get heard and some have over the years even provided relief.

We will recall the number of cases struck down by the SC opposing voter qualification and identification laws in recent history.

I think the key thing going on here, at this point, is the “right to sue”. Plaintiffs do not have prove their specific claims to the SCOTUS. They only need prove the right to the trial process where their claims can be brought out and adjudicated.

Apparently they omitted any accusation against the cowardly Vice President that accepted the illegal electors votes.
