If the power outage is caused by EMP they will all be rendered useless. Well, so will gas powered vehicles for the most part. A large EMP attack will also fry crucial electronic components in all but the oldest vehicles.

I am keeping my Chevy Equinox until I am forced to go EV by idiot fools in the federal government!!! Remember folks, batteries in general have a short charged life and require re-charging on a much more rapid rate then filling your gas tank with petro!!!
