The last ice age was a 60 thousand year epoch that literally scraped away any evidence of civilization in the northern hemisphere. If there were any cities and evidence of anything “advanced” beyond hunter gatherer, they would have been ground into powder.

Then, the rapid heating of the earth would have caused a deluge that would have washed away anything that was left.

I don’t think a lot of people comprehend what earth was like 15,000 years ago. The Oceans were significantly lower than today—the water was tied up in the glaciers. Waterfront meant something a lot different than today.

As the humans coming out of the ice age were pretty much the humans of today—there is no reason to believe “we” weren’t around in pretty big numbers 70,000 years ago.

Ancient civilizations don’t mean airplanes and autos. It simply means organized groups, trade, and knowledge.

There are multiple sites worldwide that seem to show saw cuts in stone which predate our use of diamond-tipped saws.

There is not any stone that requires diamond blades or even carbide to cut. We have them and use them because they cut faster; and, we are an impatient lot.

Davinci and Angelo weren’t exactly working on stuff anyone accepted, and in thier time , were academic exiles. The artifacts that exist so far today support an overall different theory other than the one acedemically taught today. Learned a lot about Darwin and the ridiculousness of those theories in Galapagos when I saw it myself with some naturalists who won’t publish thier work because of that very threat.

stone, glass, and copper - which would be long gone or be unrecognizable after 12,000 years

Glass does not decompose. It is forever.

Anyone have knowledge, or opinions, on Tim Alberino? He has some DVD’s called True Legends , etc. on ancient civilizations/cultures. Have not seen them, or decided to purchase. Have only seen him in YouTube interviews. Thanks in advance.

Glass does not decompose. It is forever.

Glass is not forever - nothing is forever ... Glass gets crushed & ground into powder - gone in a few decades of exposure.

You missed the key point...he wasn’t talking about erosion due to flood runoff...he was talking surface pit erosion that is only caused by years of exposure to heavy rainfall. That part of Egypt has been too dry to cause such pitting in the “standard postulated age” of the Sphinx.

“You missed the key point...he wasn’t talking about erosion due to flood runoff...”

Actually, that’s MY key point. He ignored it, even though the signs on the Sphinx and Sphinx enclosure clearly point to flood erosion as the most likely culprit for most of the erosion patterns we see.

Seen them all. And I am a firm believer that there was indeed a previous advanced global civilization. Far too many things just cannot be explained.

No, he did not. I've read his books and seen photographs of the erosion. It is NOT flood erosion. The pits are on the TOPS of the structures, not the bases.

The Monument at Rostau was a jackal headed monument crouching as canines do, looking to Canis Major and Sirius rising guarding the Land of the Dead, associated with Anubis.

Everything else came later especially after Herodotus. The body being interpreted as a lion, when it obviously is not.

It likely far predates the Old Kingdom and the later re-carving of the head with the added legends of a lion and Leo because Cains Major no longer rose in the East.

Sirius makes more sense than Leo in the tales of Osiris and Isis, where there is no Leo. Your mileage may differ.

I’m not referring to pits, I’m referring to the deep vertical channels which are a hallmark of flood erosion constrained in hard bedrock channels. He ignored that fact completely.

As far as I know, Netflix is an Entertainment Channel.
I watched the series to be entertained. I was.

I didn’t feel endangered by it at all.
{Guess that means I’m not far leftish enough.}

BTW, I cannot personally attest to anything earlier than the late 1940s.
From that perspective of mine, God made everything in the 1930s and just made it all look old.

I am much more interested in present-day observations of people like Ben Davidson (Suspicious Observers). He cites data of the earth’s magnetic poles migration and the subsequent reduction of the planet’s ability to ward off solar eruption consequences.

Either a Carrington-level natural excursion or an enemy’s intentional EMP attack could indeed put us into a “One Second After” (Wm. R. Forstchen, auth) type of existence.

But we all get to die sometime. Why get all worked up over things we can not control?!

Yes, but in the direction of the sawing force.
Yet the observed marks to which I’m referring curve in the opposite direction - away from the direction of the cut. Which is counter to what one observes with a string cut.

Why should he not have ignored it...that type of erosion is irrelevant to his point. I repeat...the RELEVANT type of erosion is that which is evident on the TOPS of the structures, and totally unaffected by "flood erosion constrained in hard bedrock channels". That erosion is ONLY caused by long-term exposure to heavy rainfall. The Sphinx and the structures around it have such erosion. Other structures in the same area do not. The climate that would yield heavy rainfall had been well over by the time of the supposed accepted age of the Sphinx.
