Why does ANYONE listen to Soledad O’Brien? Or Harvard-brainwashed María de la Soledad Teresa O’Brien.
Reminds me of Carlos O’Kelly’s bad TexMex restaurants. A dying chain like Soledad’s career.
Cute when she was younger, but annoying at 56.
Wanna bet she doubles down?
.
Of course she will.....................
“Wanna bet she doubles down?”
On what, being stupid?
I’d be careful I was her. I hear Kyle has Nick Sandmans’ lawyers on speed dial.......wouldn’t THAT be hilarious.
Well she posted that tweet on Kyle’s Twitter. She doesn’t get that the bots won’t block counter option to hers anymore.
Well, O'Brien is not an actual journalist. And the word vapid and Soledad O'Brien just go together.
where does she pontificate from now?
I didn’t know who she was, I thought she was some 20 year old college indoctrinated DemoMarxist. Nope, 56 year old who at that age still has no fully developed brain. I feel like writing to her, if she’s ever mugged, raped, she better not defend herself or she will be held accountable.
I wrote her a lovely twitter response guaranteed to get under her skin.......

Maria O’Brien is such a poseur. Her father was an Australian Ph.D. aerospace professor at Johns Hopkins, her mother was a Columbian immigrant Spanish instructor. Her father went on to work for Grumman, and she was raised in one of the most high-rent ZIP codes in America, Smithtown, Long Island, currently 95.5% white, 3.3% Hispanic, 0.65% black. She affected the name “Soledad” after the prison riots to give herself some Hispanic cred.
Which is nice. Just like when CBS last week reported that the laptop was real, 2 years after the story.
Oh. There are just those two.
She is a product of the Harvard Cult.
Among other gigs, she co-hosts a financial show on the radio in the DC area on Saturday mornings. It is sponsored by Ric Edelman to give it an air of credibility.
I heard Edelman’s show yesterday (Sunday) broadcast from Boston. More or less worthless. The show, I believe, is paid programming. Do you really want these people handling your retirement savings?
Um, no. When Edelman started out back in the late 80s/early 90s he was basic finances and pretty down to earth. He gave decent advice (e.g., The Truth About Money). Now that he has hit the big time and has given a platform for the likes of OBrien and has embraced cryptocurrency, his sell by date has expired.
Oh. There are just those two.
Commemorative plaque placed at the San Jacinto Plaza in the district of San Ángel, Mexico City in 1959: "In memory of the Irish soldiers of the heroic St. Patrick's Battalion, martyrs who gave their lives to the Mexican cause in the United States' unjust invasion of 1847"
Yep, none of them gave themselves fake names, though.
The San Patricio Battalion was made up of mostly deserters from the U.S. Army in Mexico, some of them officers. They were co-religionists of the Mexicans. The Mexican-American War was initiated when the Mexican Army attacked the U.S. Army in the State of Texas. The fact that it did not turn out well for the Mexicans is their bad luck. Deserting officers, later recaptured were hanged by the U.S. Army, enlisted receiving lesser punishments.
Lord Wellington dryly observed, “Scott will leave Vera Cruz when the Mexicans allow him to.” I guess they wanted him to march into Mexico City.
