Honest question:
If this concerns microbes that are on/in tomatoes, then how does such a microbe survive the stomach acid before moving into the intestines?
OR...
Is this about some nutrient in tomatoes that benefit the intestinal microbes?

I can’t eat those things. They are for color in a salad only. They have no taste. Home growns cannot be beat.

Admittedly,I am not going to read this article. Just hopped on to share that I’m sick of hearing about “gut health.”

I’ve never had it because I usually drink water. Soft drinks and regular tea and green tea is $2.50, while the Kombucha is like $5............. haven’t been there in a while, so prices are probably even higher now............

Kombucha is very low alcohol beer made by brewing sweet tea, black tea. There are lots and lots of videos but they get bogged down in unnecessary detail.
I made kombucha to restore our biotics after both my wife and I has intensive antibiotic prescribed after surgery last year about this time. It is not rocket science. We got better and I quit but still have the capability if needed.
The scoby grows in the fermentation vessel and can be used a very long time as it self reproduces
