The remaining Cowsills just released a new album. I heard a couple of them interviewed on the radio. Couldn’t believe they were still a thing.
Here’s an ear worm for everyone…..
Gimme a head with hair
Long, beautiful hair
Shining, gleaming
Streaming, flaxen, waxen
Give me down to there (hair)
Shoulder length or longer (hair)
Here, baby, there, mama
Everywhere, daddy, daddy
Hair (hair, hair, hair, hair, hair)
Grow it, show it
Long as I can grow it
My hair
That’s a great story, Sam. I love the part about you giving the pic of Keith to your sister and being more cynical.
Doggone it, sometimes these discussions on Free Republic get so cerebral I get a headache.
That sounds like Gilligan’s Planet. The TV movies of Gilligan were very successful; they were hoping for a Fantasy Island/Hotel type of show but all they got was a Saturday morning cartoon.
One of my favorites, too. I really wanted Napoleon Solo’s pistol.
Who is that actress?
What show was she on?
Susan Dey
Karen Valentine
Room 222
Thanks.
The Cowsills were remarkably talented. Their 1967 hit, THE RAIN, THE PARK, AND OTHER THINGS (better known as THE FLOWER GIRL) was a very well-arranged/performed song and very iconic for that era.
Who was more powerful, Jeannie or Samantha? Mortals couldn’t trap Samantha in a bottle but how were they able to burn witches way back?
well for me, Jeannie was more powerful ... especially when she called me ‘Master’ ...
I like Bailey and Mindy
I thought Karen Valentine was hot.
Addams Family.
Which came first? Bewitched or I Dream of Jeanie?
I didn’t look it up and I’m only going from my memory as a kid, but I think I remember them both starting on the same Friday evening, same time slot, opposite each other on competing channels (there were only 3 channels then I think).
That is Karen Valentine, who played the young teacher assistant, Miss Johnson, on Room 222.
All the “High School” students on Room 222 looked like they were in their 30s.
