He’s had calculus
My aunt & uncle setup a trust for their 5 kids after hearing about my parents troubles with 2 of their daughters costing them their savings.
Marie Osmond was very lucky to have had her parents who put her brothers on stage who in turn paved the way for her.
She should help her kids. One killed himself in 2010.
I gave a lot of thought about what to do. Property owned jointly by members of my family, which is 6 kids with husbands. Try to find a way to guarantee that the land stays in family hands for generations. A place to ground yourself, make a business and make sure the grandkids have chores. A gift of a forever job that is a joy. They have to save enough to build a house but they will have something to show as collateral. I had a friend that did this, he passed away but his kids and his elderly wife still live on the land. The road is named after the family. Plus they had enough to sell housing sites to make enough to get a house built. They all started with Mobile homes, and are now in stick built homes.
Solomon had gold to spare. He also was a very loose in the moral sense. Didn’t his inheritance go to the dumpster?
You have to put aside $10K a year minimum, if you do that for 40 years, you won’t need social security. People spend that much on dinner out or food delivery.
I'd give you a "like", if this site allowed it.
I'm a little shocked at all the control freak answers. My kids are good people, raised in the Christian faith. They encourage my wife and I to spend our money and have fun. What's left will be evenly split among them. They are our true treasures, and I'd rather they had it than anyone else.
