When I first moved into my 1927 mountain cottage 42 years ago, I did a BIG remodeling job, taking out walls, turning the attached springhouse into a bathroom, putting a bedroom where the kitchen was, etc. Turned out quite nice. One evening that same year I was sitting in the living room (that used to be a bedroom), the old woman whose house it had been and who had passed on a couple of years earlier, was sitting in the chair across from me. I couldn’t hear her speak, but she made it clear that she was just checking out what I had done to her house, and that she was happy with the changes. I was left with such a pleasant feeling. As far as I know, she hasn’t been back.
My youngest son has this.
The brain does not transition well into sleep mode. There is a rush of synaptic activity that causes a loud booming sound inside the head, sometimes accompanied by a flash of light. It’s not dangerous or painful but can be very scary to a young child.
The first time it happened my son came running in crying. Freaked me out until I spoke to the doctor.
It helps to have a regular and soothing routine prior to bed. Story time, prayers, soothing back rubs, etc. Also, nothing sugary after 6 PM.
Well, if I believed in ghosts, aliens and (incarnate) demons, I probably wouldn’t sleep well.

Well, duh, the aliens use their paralysis beam on you to prep you for the probes. Everyone knows that!
So, a typical night with Coast-to-Coast AM on the radio.

Friends son started having night terrors about 2 years old.
( kid had never been to church)
Told him to buy bible on CD and play it on loop when putting him to bed.
They said nothing to him about it, just did it.
No more nightmares or terrors .
Kid knew nothing about religion before,
now he is bible literate
and saved .
So are his parents.
This article is anti Christisn secular humanist crap from the pit imho.
I’ve encountered this with another freind once before this , same circumstances, same advice, same outcome.
( both families had a grand parent who dabbeled in the occult)

Maybe they are being messed with by ghosts and demons. Exorcisms have been documented to work sometimes. Doctors say its all in people’s heads. That’s just an assertion without evidence.
Dang! And here I am thinking that my insomnia was due to too much coffee, stress, and the pain in my foot that the doctors can’t diagnose.
I never thought about it being related to paranormal activity. (And I still don’t)
