I stopped following NASCAR a while ago. Lost interest after Dale Jarrett, Mark Martin, Bobby Labonte, Dale Junior, etc. retired and the new generation took over. Is Kyle as disliked as his brother, Kurt? Most the NASCAR fans that I knew would have strongly encouraged the Mexican police to use deadly force if they were arresting Kurt.

Why didn’t the TSA find the gun when he flew down there?
i meant to say- i only am slightly interested in how kyle larson does- he was supposed to be the next jeff gordon wonderboy-
I do follow Jimmy Johnson as he has gone over to Indy Car racing- so far not so great- but improving- he even led soem laps in one race- and was i think 5’th in another- hope he can get some top 5’s this year-
So if Busch was returning to the USA, how did the gun in the bag get through the TSA check-in for the trip *TO* Cancun?
My respect for Kyle Busch just went up a notch. Mexico is dangerous. Hollow points for self defense are wise.

He flew down in a private jet. Took his bag in and they found his gun. Not very good packing on his part but it happens. If he had flown commercial then TSA would have found it. Maybe.
You might almost expect to get away with it flying on a private aircraft, maybe going thru a VIP security stand. But, it seems he was returning to the USA. How’d he get the gun down there?

When we were kids, my dad, when he got really angry, would call you a “Dumb Bunny”!
When we grew up, we would laugh about it...never heard anyone ever use that term...:) We found it hilarious in later years that he would resort to THAT when he was REALLY mad.
Funny. My dad didn’t swear a lot in the traditional sense. He used to say things like “Jesus H. Christ” (or an even odder “Christ on a crutch”...must have been his Jesuit education)
I did not hear him say the “F” word until I was in my Forties...

I can’t think of a good reason to go to Mexico. I certainly can’t think of any reason to put myself at the mercy of the totally corrupt Mexican police.
