Not a bad idea for several. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was pretty good. Matilda was deeply problemmatic, but well told. BFG, Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator, James and the Giant Peach, and the Witches were terrible.
When you wrote of the tranny named Pat, I thought of Julia Sweeney’s “It’s Pat!” from SNL. Poor girl. She transitioned and nobody knew.
LOL, well i disagree, you can be a fisherwoman as it’s not a made up slight or joke 8^)
but what bothers me is, the beautiful play on words destroyed, in the name of woke...
This is why you want printed books and not digital copies that can be altered at the publisher’s whim. They will soon refuse to print those awkward verses about sodomites, and other bits they find controversial.
