Battman,
You have me puzzled.
Are you in favor of Ukraine’s right to has the US taxayers fund every last dollar that Ukraine can spend? Because you seem to have been silent on that IMPORTANT point.

In the 80s Putin was KGB and assisting terror groups in Europe, we lost some GIs from them.

Did you actually read my post - or are you simply jumping on your feelings and assumptions? I said I am adamantly a supporter of Ukraine’s right to defend itself as well as the certain corruption (that is on-par with US and Russian corruption). Period.

AS to US Taxpayers - that is an entirely different discussion that wasn’t part of my reply -nor did I imply anything along those lines.

We were fighting communists in Vietnam. We’re backing neo-Nazis in Ukraine.

Ukraine Corruption is profound. I tried over a period of about a year to do business there. I have worked all over Latin America and all over Africa, and never saw anything like it. It is simply not possible for an American company subject to FCPA restrictions. We did work successfully in Russia and made money legitimately there, although the opportunities to engage in corruption were endless, just as they are here in the US. Ukraine was like Russia, but with no rules. Our company’s billionaire owner, whose family operated orphanages in Ukraine, finally pulled the plug on the effort, stating that there is just no way we could legally do business and make money in Ukraine. That is my experience.
