Best Bowie album by far
That is an outlier opinion. Ok, I’ll give you the title track and the “Wild is the Wind” cover, but Golden Years wears out its welcome, and “Stay” and “TVC15” are borderline filler.
If you like the S2S sound, you didn’t find side one of Low or Heroes doing it better? For me, it depends on mood. Young Americans, Scary Monsters and Hunky Dory sound like they were done by three different groups with the same lead singer.

I believe they wrote this song after being “bottled” at a concert — audience didn’t like them and started throwing bottles at them. (I guess like Blues Brothers... but for real.)

Indeed. 43 years later and I can listen to Golden Years anytime. Don’t think that there are many golden years in my future, though.
