I hate “gerunding”, too.
That is, take a noun, make it a verb, then cast it as a noun again in its gerund form by adding “ing” to the end.
A parent becomes the verb “to parent” which becomes the gerund “parenting”.
Ach.

Using the verb “Ask” as a noun, instead of the noun “Request”. I hate that too. “I know it’s a big ask…” Aaarrrrgggghhh!

“I’m so glad I am retired.”
Ditto.
Even worse than the buzzwords was if I was given a greeting card by Maya Angelou on my birthday. That just sent me over the top.

Tiger Team. Whenever you were put on a tiger team, you knew you were inheriting someone else's mess. You knew 8 hours of sleep was a memory and you knew someone else was going to get the credit for anything good that came out of it.

I think it’s “too many chiefs, not enough Indians.”
You’ll have to go to HR for that one.

Agreed.
Cringe as a noun is absurd.
And mostly it is used to describe normal behavior.
