Since when does “someone is taking pictures of me, and I don’t like it” void the requirement of obeying traffic laws, as I assume was done if it were a “harrowing” chase.

Paparazzi only follow them around because magazines will pay them money for pics.

If they want to shut down paparazzi interest, all they have to do is have a friend with a camera follow them around, take lots of pics, and put them up for free download.

Two reasons:

1) the court case in UK needs more external pressure to give the win to Harry and mother’s death is his ace in the hole;

2) Meghan stayed down for the coronation but was probably seething. Doubt the timing of an event they were looking for for her comeback wasn’t accidental. And the timing was great. And a car chase! If only NYC had the same overhead surveillance system for chases that LA does. Wonder if there was enough time for them to set up something with the hope that the video goes viral. OJ Simpson long forgotten. Hail the new heroine in Diana danger.

She wasn’t tarred with the fallout from Spare by staying down, and her estrangement from the royal family wasn’t a hit over the head when it was her choice to not go and not theirs. So now she’s ready to keep Harry at her side to remind people of the title, but take the lead in their relationship. I think she’ll keep the puppy as long as he’s useful, but she’s going to expand their friendship circle to a LOT of really rich people so her future safety net is prepared.
