Commercials aren’t so bad on the radio.
I’m usually doing something else and only half paying attention.
When only a few companies advertise with you, you play their ads a lot.
Bingo! If I'm going to watch TV, my finger is always on the mute button. Fastest gun in the West!
Probably because there aren’t a whole lot of sponsors.
I watch on Samasung’s smart TV free channels over wifi. They play what sounds like dirge music with a message they will be right back. I wish they would give me a commercial instead.
Oh, I know what you're talking about. Gosh I hate that "music". If I can't mute it quickly enough, then I think that I'm going to lose my mind.
I mute those disgusting Frank Thomas and Doug Flutie commercials every time they come on
The wife blames the husband for not having life insurance!
She’s the one on the laptop đź’»!!!!!
This weekend, it is Jimmy Stewart and Clint Eastwood. My wife always says “why don’t you just stream it and skip the commercials?” I tell her that I grew up ignoring commercials and that is when I go to the bathroom or check FR.
How about the endless Camp Lejeune commercials?
In the beginning they were 30% marching boots.
RAV plays a Go Teddy Volkswagen commercial three times in a row often during the day. In Spanish. Oy!!
TV?
I watch NewsMax all the time, I’ve never seen that.
The talk station I listen to on the radio gets more advertisers than they have spots for so often I hear two ads running simultaneously, once three of them and a couple of times two ads on top of the regular show. It is annoying.
Don’t you want a free copy of Dick Morris latest book?
They look the beginning of a porn vidio
That idiotic ad cracks me up. The first question the wife asks is whether the dead neighbor or acquaintance had life insurance. Wouldn't you first ask what happened/how the person died?
Then, the husband knows the dead neighbor or acquaintance didn't have life insurance. Do you have such info about anyone except close family?
Next, the wife doesn't know whether she and her hubby have life insurance. If she's so worried about it, you'd think she'd know.
I've clearly seen this ad too many times.
There's also the one for some health service featuring a wife nagging her clueless husband. This seems to be a trend--showing the woman as intelligent and assertive in contrast to her moronic and befuddled male partner.
The sad thing is that most commercials are a total waste of everyone’s time.
I couldn’t even guess how many Tide commercials I’ve heard in 50+ years, for example. Have never bought the stuff.
I rely on experience of myself and others to determine if and what I buy. Incessant commercials just make me suspect it’s overpriced crap with all the investment in marketing instead of product quality.
