What’s the size of a field?
One acre, ten acres, just curious.
Nobody actually thinks a few cows are causing “climate change”. Your government thinks you are stupid. They are pretty confident you won’t do anything about it.
Absolutely moronic. These people know zip about cattle, healthy soils, carrying capacity, grazing.
I can put a thousand head on that “soccer field” and not have it overgrazed or damaged in any way a make it healthier a producing more (read carbon sink) than with their silly method.
Overgrazing is a function of time not numbers. My thousand head on that parcel will do less harm than their two head on it indefinitely.
But don’t EVER believe that any of this has anything to do with environment or climate. Environmentalists are socialists and communists.
Hmm-mm-m ... that is about 2 acres per cow. That is about 25% of the needed grassland for free range cows. Their beef will soon become smaller and tougher.
Highly productive farms free up more land to exist in a natural state.
I am starting to be one of those people who believe that the powers that be really do want us eating cricket flour and soybeans, much thinner and many fewer.
Keep the borders open, though.
The global South won’t be deterred by a poor, hungry, sparsely populated North, and they won’t give a damn about nitrogen emissions, and they won’t know how to put it back into the soil either, so it will work out in the end.
