I was drafted into the army in the spring of 67. Decided to join the Navy that gave me 90 days to show up. Decided to go up north for the Monterey Pop concert. Stayed in SF until the end of August and was in Navy boot camp by September 6. Interesting time.
I can’t think of one neocon military adventure that Dennis hasn’t endorsed. Other than Vietnam when he was too busy in his social and academic life.
You seem very angry about something not on this thread, but I don’t know what it is, or maybe it really is about Prager, I can’t tell.
Yes, one of the “interesting” things revealed, for a time the only client the Federal parole officer had, was Charlie. That was another federal program to study how heavy caseloads affected recidivism, or something. He even offered to babysit one of Manson’s spawn, and tried to get him sent down to Mexico for reasons unknown. The prosecution sought to suppress Manson’s parole records during the trial, and succeeded, apparently. I guess that’s fairly unusual. Now we know why. They were starting to circle around him, a new parole officer, but by then he had started whacking people or directing others to do so, and he was going back to prison one way or another.
“I can’t tell.”
There’s your answer.
Getting Don Pardo to do that middle part was genius.
So I read your posts correctly, the anger seems to be about something not on this thread.
Missed that Tet thing but not by much.
Infiltration of the Catholic Church and the universities was full blast at this time.
Now we see the fruits of their labors.
The walking dead outnumber the normals in Philadelphia, where America was born.
Smooth move, Ex-lax. Summer of Love. Yeah, it was cool.
